Located blocks north of the University of Chicago in Chicago's vibrant Hyde Park neighborhood, First Aid Comics is your one stop shop for comic books, graphic novels, and gaming. We stock a wide range of products from Marvel, DC, and a variety of independent publishers (from Image to Kitchen Sink), as well as the latest CCGs, board games, and RPGs.

Our Second Location
First Aid Comics (Little Italy) — First Aid Comics has a sister store near UIC, in Chicago's Little Italy. Tom, a longtime friend of James, opened the store in September of 2012.
HISTORY
James, First Aid Comics' owner, began selling comics at the age of 12. After working in and around the comics industry for years, James decided to open his own comic shop. Having fond memories of Hyde Park from his childhood, James chose to open the original First Aid Comics on 53rd St. After several years, James realized the time was right for expansion and moved First Aid Comics to our current location on 55th St. In August of 2016, we expanded our current location, enlarging our gaming space and allowing us to expand our back issue and current comic book selections.
